James E. Butt, Jr.

Biography:  James E. Butt, Jr. 62 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at his home.  Jim was born December 2, 1955 in Canton, OH to the late James E. Butt, Sr. and Beverly Anne (Yarman) Butt.  He is survived by siblings John Butt of Galion; Joe (Christina) Butt of Ashley; and Jean (Eric) Johns of Bucyrus; numerous nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Tim and Tom.
 
Jim worked at ESCO in Bucyrus and formerly at Mansfield Brass.  Several years ago Jim ran the Pub in Bucyrus.  He graduated from Colonel Crawford H.S. in 1974 and attended Ohio University and Bowling Green.  Jim was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he did volunteer work.    Jim enjoyed his time being a swim instructor at the Bucyrus Y.M.C.A. Jim was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
