James A. Nickler

Biography: James A. Nickler, 60 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday November 13, 2020 at Marion General Hospital following a brief illness.  James was born September 25, 1960 in Bucyrus to the late Grover and Madyln (DePiazza) Nickler.  He was married June 19, 1982 to Diana Lynn (Sparks) Nickler who survives.  James is also survived by daughters Amy (Chad Young) Mullins of Marion, Ashley (Rob) Young of Bucyrus; son Dewayne (Tiniel) Nickler of Bucyrus; grandchildren Gatlin, Adalynn, Magdalynn, K'Lynn, Ashlynn, and Shelby; great grandchildren Layne and Riley; brothers Dennis (Michelle) Nickler and Richard Nickler; sisters Mary Ann Nickler and Regina (Mike) Thomas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 
James worked at Geagua Plastics and for Aspen Tree Service for several years and most recently at Whirlpool in Marion.  He lived in Bucyrus his entire life and attended Bucyrus Schools.  James attended Victory in Truth Ministries and enjoyed working on cars, the outdoors (fishing and shooting), trips to Gatlinburg, and spending time with the children and grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Victory in Truth Ministries with funeral services to follow at 6:00 pm.  The Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
