Biography: Jackie M. Groves, 71 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday August 26, 2018 at Altercare of Bucyrus. Jackie was born December 5, 1946 in Franklin Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Edith Groves Davidson and Joe Davidson, as well as brother Jeff Davidson and sister Judy Ann Groves.
Jackie is survived by brothers Rick Davidson and Roger Davidson; sisters Penny Taylor and Tracy Hall; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jackie worked at the County Board of DD workshop. He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and loved going to church and God. He listened to gospel music and enjoyed singing.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 pm in Providence Cemetery, Franklin, KY next to his grandparents Alma and Otis Groves. The Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home.
