Jacie Everett

December 31, 1969 — September 27, 2017

Biography: Jacie E. Everett, 18 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday September 24, 2017 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Jacie was born July 4, 1999 and  is survived by her father Robert R. (Vanessa Hammock and son Knight) Everett of Bucyrus; mother Tioni L. (Charles E. Sams Jr.) Adkins of Columbus; brother Ryan (Summer M. Edison) Everett and sister Mirium Everett; the love of her life Joshua Auck and his son Josh; grandparents Tim and Kim Davis, Mary Everett, and James and Keena Everett; great grandparents Patricia A. Holbrook and Georgia and Thomas Murdoch as well as Donald and Charlotte Davis; aunts Johnna Everett and Kristi Alexander; uncles Aaron A. Davis, Caleb T. Davis, and Ezra J. Davis; one niece Maylie Everett and numerous cousins.  She was preceded in death by grandfather Mark A. Adkins; great grandparents Mary E. Deyo, Robert R. Johnson, and Donna Casto.

Jacie was a cheerful  and beautiful young woman who had a lot ahead of her.  She was setting up colleges to attend and was thinking about her bright future.  She enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, track, and hanging out with her friends.  She did cheerleading when she was younger and excelled in gymnastics.  Her hobby was shopping for clothes with anyone who would go with her and she enjoyed time with the little kids in her life.  When someone was picking on her family she was always there to protect them no matter what.  This was because she had a passion to defend people she cared about.

Jacie was a senior at Bucyrus High School and was a 3-year member of the Volleyball and Girls’ Basketball teams.  She earned a Varsity letter in Volleyball her junior year and earned the Girls’ Basketball Redmen Award during her Sophomore year.  An Honor Roll student, Jacie was involved in DECA, FCCLA, and spirit clubs at Bucyrus High School.  She was a member of the Cheerleading squad and Track and Field team in the 7th and 8th grade.
