Herbert M. Rowland

Biography: Herbert M. Rowland, 78, formerly of 1125 Sherman St. in Bucyrus passed away on Saturday December 5, 2020 at Altercare of Bucyrus.  Herb was born June 26, 1942 in Bucyrus to the late Marion Ellsworth and Adeline Melveen (Holland) Rowland.  He was also preceded in death by siblings Ellsworth "Hap" Rowland, Robert Rowland, Gene Rowland, Bonnie Grau, Sallie Parker, Florence Christman, Marilyn Lohr, and Marion Rowland. 
Herbert is survived by sister Carol (Pete) Hart of Richmond, TX, as well as many nieces and nephews. 
Herb retired from Business Systems in Mansfield and prior to that had worked 20 years at Swan Rubber.  He graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1963 and was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church.  Herb was an avid follower of  OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Indians sports. 
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in Oakwood Cemetery with Vicar Tanyce Addison officiating.   A Memorial Service will be held later in the summer by the family.
