Hazel M. Morrow

December 31, 1969 — September 27, 2017

Biography:  Hazel M. Morrow, 83 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday September 24, 2017 at Signature Health Care in Galion.  Hazel was born October 25, 1933 in Greenup, KY to the late Raymond and Viola (Holmes) Newman.  She was married Feb. 10, 1952 to Raymond B. Morrow who survives. 
 

Hazel is also survived by children Dan (Kristeen) Morrow of Eastanollee, GA and Karen (Bill) Harris of Granville, OH; grandchildren Troy (Sara) Morrow of Eastanollee, GA, Rachel Peace of Toccoa, GA; Ryan (Gina) Harris of Granville; and Erin (Michael) Fraizer of Newark, OH; 7 great grandchildren; brothers Jim, John, and Harold Newman; sisters Mary Edith Ten Eyck, Dottie Smith, and Patti Mays.  She was preceded in death by brother Thomas and sisters Loretta, Annabelle, Sadie, Pam, infant sister and stillborn sister.

 

Hazel lived most of her life in Bucyrus and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in Bucyrus.  Hazel was a former 4-H Advisor and on the Board of Mental Health.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Biddle Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service.  Memorials may be made to Home Care Matters Hospice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
