Harry R. Myers

Harry R. Myers, 86 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday January 17, 2023 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Harry was born June 4, 1936 in Bucyrus to the late Thomas and Mary (Gallagher) Myers.  He was also preceded in death by brothers Clarence, Dicky, Jim, and Tommy, as well as sister Myrtle and the mother of his children Shirley Schwemley.

Harry is survived by children Victor (Debora) Schwemley of Bucyrus, Tammy Jo Schwemley and Brenda Schwemley both of Ontario; grandchildren Cody A. Roberson and Joshua Schwemley-Roberson; step grandchildren Jason and Brandon; sisters JoAnn Dunn Mansfield and Mary Pinyard of Crestline; as well as several nieces , nephews, and great grandchildren.

Harry worked at Swan Rubber several years ago and retired as street supervisor for the city of Bucyrus after working over 30 years and retired almost 20 years ago.  Harry enjoyed going on drives, auctions, and especially enjoyed handing out candy at Halloween. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 4:30 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until the time of the service.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
