Gregory John Heil

Gregory John Heil, 67 of Shelby Ohio passed away on Wednesday May 20, 2026 at the Hospice House in Columbus following a battle with cancer. Greg was born June 26, 1958 in Bucyrus to the late Kenneth and Mary (Teynor) Heil. He was also preceded in death by brother Kenneth Heil.

Greg is survived by sister Patty Hargis of Bucyrus and longtime companion Hazel Landrum. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Hazel’s sister Helen Lavena, her nephew Jr, and nieces and nephews.

Greg graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1976 and worked in Masonry. He loved country music, playing on his tablet, watching wrestling, coloring, and being an avid fan of Michigan. Greg was a member of the VFW 291 in Shelby.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 20, 2026 @ 2:00 pm in the Fathers Heart Healing Center, 320 Woodlawn Ave., Bucyrus. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
