Goldie Wallace

Goldie Ruby Wallace, age 83, went to be with the Lord September 16th, 2026 surrounded by family. Goldie was born to the late Russell and Mary (Hall) Fannin February 16, 1943 in Emerson Kentucky. Goldie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Wallace; brothers, Lee Otis (Barbara) Fannin, Carl (Berta) Fannin, and Randall Fannin; sisters, Verna (Michael) Tackett, Sandra Noblit, Julia (Ora) Dyer, Opal (Willis) Toler, Rebecca (Clifford) Carrol, and Helen Fannin; brother-in-laws, Kyle Gregory and David Hayes.

Goldie is survived by her 3 children, Stacy (Gene) Wagner, Russell (Shawna) Wallace, Kelli (Jeff) White; sisters, Ann Gregory and Gladys Hayes; grandchildren, Rebecca, Daniel, Kyle, Chad, Zak, Tanner, Sarah, Jessey; great-grandchildren, Aleah, Keaton, Tristen, Charli Grace, Kyla, Luca, Kayson, Wrenlee, Cash; brother-in-law, Gary Noblit; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Goldie never knew a stranger, she loved being social, making new friends, and people watching. Goldie loved her family very much, cooking and baking were some of her favorite passions. She had quite the green thumb, Goldie always had a beautiful garden year after year and enjoyed canning her vegetables. Two years ago, in 2024, she was awarded “Most Beautiful Yard” in Grayson Kentucky. Goldie was a member of Hardy United Methodist Church. Goldie also enjoyed her QVC network purchasing, always finding a good deal. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

The family will be receiving friends at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, Saturday, September 19, from 11AM-12PM. There will be a funeral service to follow the hour visitation at 12PM. Rodney Noblit will be officiating services, interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon’s.
