Gloria Jean Laipply

Biography: Gloria Jean Laipply, 74 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday August 24, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  Gloria was born June 22, 1945 in Bucyrus to the late Roscoe William and Sina Lou (Crace) Tackett.  She was married December 14, 1979 to Roger Laipply who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Ronnie, Franklin, William, and Norman Tackett; sisters Dorothy Burns, Flossie Lacy, Edith Roberts, and Cindy Young; and 2 great grandchildren.
Gloria is survived by children Wendy (Dean) Nolen of Kentucky; Trish (Bill) Dennison of Bucyrus; and Kolton Bayless of Bucyrus; step children Erin Fogle and Chad (Lacy) Laipply; grandchildren Kielee Nolen, Kyndal Nolen, Katie (Ryan) Taylor, Jordan (Pamela) Johnson, Jarrenn (Brent) Richardson, Wesley (Katie) Dennison, Marina Bayless, and KJ Bayless. step grandchildren Benjamin (Kim Morrow) Fogle, Ivy Laipply, Nikoli (Brittany) Fogle, and Cheyenne Elkins; 13 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; brothers Daniel Tackett of Shelby and Clement Tackett of Crestline; sisters Lois Eden of Nevada and Mary Laughbaum of Tiro; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Gloria attended Buckeye Central School and worked in Child Care for over 30 years.  She enjoyed shopping, reading, cooking, computer poker, Christmas holidays, and attending the grandchildren's sporting events.  She attended the Bucyrus Nazarene Church.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery, Tiro.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
