George E. Harvey

Biography: George E. Harvey, 80 of Orlando FL passed away on Thursday Nov. 16, 2017 at Florida Hospital East Orlando following a brief illness. George was born Nov. 11, 1937 in LaRue OH to the late Arthur and Helen (Burkepile) Harvey. He was married August 13, 1983 to Linda Kay (Cobb) Harvey who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, one infant brother, brothers Lewis and John Harvey, and sisters Dwilla Cramer, Ruby Rogers, and Gertrude Rumer.

George is also survived by children Rodney (Eleanor) Harvey, Bucyrus; Tim (Anita) Harvey, Merritt Island, FL; Janey (Bob) Richey of Port Richey, FL; 5 grandchildren Michael, Amy, Shane, Amber, and Nicholas; 6 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

George moved to Bucyrus in 1959 from Upper Sandusky. While living in Bucyrus George worked for BAJA Boats where he started in 1980. He moved to Florida and worked for Regal Boats in Orlando until his retirement at age 62. Following retirement George helped out at the Park where he lived with Linda.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday Nov. 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
