Emory V. Bartley Jr.

Emory V. Bartley Jr., 81 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday January 21, 2024 at home.  Emory was born March 11, 1942 in Big Sandy, West Virginia to the late Emory V. Bartley Sr. and Hazel (Sweeney) Bartley.  He was first married to Rose (Sherman) Bartley July 4, 1965 and she preceded him in death on July 2, 2002. On December 27, 2007 he was married to Carol J. (Teynor) Campbell who preceded him in death on January 26, 2020.  He was also preceded in death by sons David and Roger; sister Donna Gail; and brother Doug.

Emory is survived by daughter Tammy (Kyle) Spitler of Bucyrus; stepchildren Lois (Shelley) Campbell and Steve (Yvonne) Campbell; grandchildren Matthew and Michael Ellis, great grandson Luke, step grandchildren Kevin and Tiffany Campbell and Sarah Ard, and step great grandchildren Chloe, Preston, Micah, and Isabel; as well as brothers Roger and Jack

Emory retired from Peco II in Galion and currently has been working at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Emory enjoyed NASCAR, following Professional Football, going to auctions, and camping.  For several years he wintered first in Las Vegas and then in Florida.
