Emma E. (Benedict) Lilly

Emma Elizabeth (Benedict) Lilly, 45 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2025 at Majestic Care Nursing Home in Clyde, OH where she resided since March. Emma was born August 6, 1979 in Galion to the late Samuel S. Benedict Jr. and Karen (Morris) Murr who survives in Bucyrus. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by brothers Samuel S. Benedict III and Michael J. Benedict.

Emma is also survived by her fiancé Edward Springer; children Elizabeth (Joe) Burnside, Katdum Lilly, Clayton Lilly, and Harmony Waaland; 3 grandchildren; brother Donny Benedict; sisters Ruth Lewis and Phyllis Bensley; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. A special thanks is given to uncle and aunt Raymond and Barbara Delarwelle who have been with her since this most recent illness.

Emma was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, going to auctions, listening to music (especially Loretta Lynn), and spending time with her family.
