Eleanor Kay Cornell

December 31, 1969 — April 5, 2016

Biography:  Eleanor Kay Cornell, age 71, went to be with the Lord after a sudden illness April 3rd. Eleanor was born to the late Lovell Adams and Rosella “Graves” Schnabel in Bucyrus Ohio, August 7th 1944. Eleanor is preceded in death by husband John D. Cornell; siblings, William Perdue and Dolly Pollock.

Eleanor is survived by son Marvin Perdue; step-son, Trent (Suzy) Cornell; sisters, Edna (Bill) Adams, and Dawn Graves; brother-in-law, Alan Pollock, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Eleanor worked at Special Packaging for 19 years before they closed the doors. Eleanor attended regularly at Nazareth Lutheran Church of Chatfield. She tended to house plants and her dogs when she was at home. In her spare time she loved to crochet. When she was with family she’d take them traveling across the state to different museums or places to go fishing. Eleanor loved every niece, nephew, and grandkid as if they were all her children.
Services for Eleanor will be taking place at a later date. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com. Memorials may be made to Nazarene Lutheran Church of Chatfield, the Humane Society, or the Bucyrus Public Library.
