Edward Lee Hayes

Biography: Edward Lee Hayes, age 62, passed away at home June 10, 2020. Edward was born to the late Harold and Betty "Long" Hayes in Bucyrus Ohio October 30, 1957. Edward is preceded in death by parents and sister Dorothy Hayes.
Ed is survived by children, Mary Hayes, Sabrina Hayes,  James (Margeret O'Heronit) Walker, David McGroder; sister, Debra Hayes; separated partner Samantha "McGroder" Hayes; grandson, Conner Anthony Staats-McGroder.
Edward was a graduate of Buckeye Central. Edward worked at Swan for 30+ years. He also worked at United Alloy and metals. He loved spending time with his family. Ed was an outdoorsman type, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and working on cars.  He was very ornery, loved telling jokes, and would often go to the drive in theater.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 12AM-2PM and 4PM-6PM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service to follow at 6PM. Memorials may be made to the Veterans association or American Heart Association. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
