Biography: Edward E. "Brownie" Brown, 71 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday September 7, 2018 at home following an extended illness. Ed was born January 20, 1947 in Bucyrus to the late Jerome and Charlotte Ruth (Ulmer) Brown. He was married May 11, 1974 to Peggy Auck who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Donna "Butch" Brown and Jennifer L. Wilson.
Ed is also survived by children April Brown of Cincinnati; Tonya (Gary) Ely of Bucyrus; Deann Brown, Bucyrus; and Ryan (Nikki) Brown of Crestline; grandchildren Jayden, David, and Michael Carter; Rachael Ely; Angel and Cherokee Allen; Samuel and Jozlyn Benedict; and Justin and Janelle Brown; 2 great grandchildren Braydin and Samanthah Osborne; Sisters Geraldine (Louie) Hargis of Bucyrus; half sisters Kathy Powell of Bucyrus and Linda Williams of Mt. Gilead; sister in law Debbie McFarland and brother in law Danny Auck.
Ed was a man who had great love for his family and for the outdoors his greatest joy was fishing on the banks of east Harbor and taking his family on many camping adventures. Ed instilled the love of camping'fishing,gardening upon his kids who have passed to his grand kids. Ed also enjoyed watching his football every Sunday with Tonya by his side taking bets if the Cleveland Browns would win one this year. Roses are his symbol of love for his wife for every mothers day he bought her a rose bush leaving the yard full of beautiful colors and smells that will forever keep him alive within our hearts as we watch his roses grow.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday September 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Oceola Cemetery with Elder Alvin Gottfried, Minister officiating. The Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.There will also be a dinner proceeding the grave site service at 311 Pleasent hill Dr. Bucyrus, oh to celebrate Ed's life.
