Dr. Thomas J. Teynor,

Biography:
Dr. Thomas J. Teynor, 87 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday afternoon November 6, 2018 at Altercare of Bucyrus following a brief illness. Tom was born January 31, 1931 in Bucyrus to the late George L. and Mary Ann (Lavelle) Teynor. He was also preceded in death by brothers Ernest, John, George, Robert, William, James, and Lawrence as well as one sister Mary Heil.
Dr. Teynor is survived by daughter Angela Chandler; grandchildren Olivia and Evan Chandler; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Tom graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1949 and Ohio State University Dental School. Following High School he served in the U.S. Coast Guard. For several years he was the Director of the Dental Clinic for Cincinnati Schools and in addition had a dental practice in Bucyrus. Tom was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Bucyrus Moose Lodge. He enjoyed attending sporting events, walking for exercise, and golfing.
A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated in Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday at 11:00 am with Father Paul Fahrbach as Celebrant, burial will follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to a local charity through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
