Destiny Rathers

Destiny Renee Rathers, 21, formerly of Bucyrus and most recently of Marion passed away on Friday October 10, 2025. Destiny was born August 19, 2004, in Galion, Ohio to the late Phillip Rathers and Misty Fletcher who resides in Galion. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by maternal grandfather John Fletcher, maternal great grandparents John and Pat Myers.

Destiny is survived by her mother Misty (Willie Perry) along with Grandmother Dawn Fletcher; brothers Dakota (Nevaeh Clark) Rathers, Tyler Perry; sister Alexis Perry and ½ sister Billie Mongold and paternal grandparents Judy and Paul Rathers and step grandparents Bill (Maude) Perry. She was also survived by aunts and uncles Micheal Fletcher, Jonathon Fletcher, Branden (Cheyenne) Fletcher, Sean (Ari) Fletcher, Kristen and Somer Fletcher, Dawayne (Beth) Bell, Adam Bell, JC (Sara) Coffee, David (Ashley) Peterman, Bryant Perry, Nick (Amber) Perry, and Scarlet Perry, Nicole (Carl) Hardymon, and one niece Zoey Rathers and numerous cousins.

Destiny lived most of her life in Bucyrus and was a Buckeye Community High School graduate. She enjoyed baking, listening to music, and taking care of children.
