David L. Elick

Biography: David L. Elick, 62 of Bucyrus passed away Friday January 19, 2018 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  David was born April 6, 1955 in Lancaster, OH to Jerry and Shirley (Thomas) Elick who live in Breman, OH.  He is also survived by wife Norma Jean (Baker) Elick who he married September 23, 1979; son Shane (Rachel Hill) McClary of Plymouth; grandchildren Amber (Zack) Lux and their son Owen; Gavin McClary; and Kendra (Dan) Fahey and their daughter Gabby; brother Ron (Maryann) Elick of Cincinnati; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends and cousins.  David was preceded in death by one brother Jeffrey Elick.


David recently retired from Marco Photo’s in Ontario.  He graduated from Fairfield Union H.S. in 1973 and Rio Grande College in 1977 before moving to Bucyrus in 1979.  David was a member of the Moose, was an avid bowler, loved to travel, and enjoyed spending time with the babies.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 4:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, Bucyrus with Paul Crawford officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
