Biography: David Heid, 76 of Bucyrus, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. He was born on April 28, 1945 to Carl and Georgia (Richardson) Heid. In 1965, he married Della (Myers)Heid, who was way out of his league, but the love of his life.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 57 years, Della Heid; sons, Dwayne Heid and Dean Heid; a grandson, Connor Heid and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Heid; and sisters, Jessie Heid and Edith Moore.
David was a truck driver for many years and worked way too hard before he retired from American Standard in Tiffin, OH. He will be remembered for being his wife's dedicated and loving caretaker, a friend to you whether you liked it or not, and a curious, gossipy, and generous old fart, who would always let you buy.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Brandon Quail officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am on Saturday until the time of the Service. Memorials may be made to The Brain Aneurysm Foundation at www.bafound.org or through the funeral home.
