Daniel Lee Morton

Biography:  Daniel Lee Morton, 52 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday September 19, 2016 at home.  Daniel was born January 30, 1964 in Amherst Ohio to the late Charles E. Morton and the former Nancy Benson.  He was married Sept. 19, 2015 to Therese (Stewart) Morton who survives.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter Charity Lynn Morton and son Richard Stewart.
Daniel is also survived by children Dustin Lee (Ashley Coburn) Morton; Joseph Daniel (Jennifer) Morton; Phillip Carr; Christopher Manson; and Cody Manson; 13 grandchildren; brothers David Charles (Lori) Morton; Robert James (Donna) Morton; Lowell John (Jackie) Morton; Paul Ivan (Renee) Morton; and Phillip Owen (Shiela) Morton; sister Rebecca Rae (Mark) Francis; as well as aunts and uncles Lois Morton, Loretta Ruse, Jack Morton, and Donald and Carol Block.
Daniel was an Electrician and graduate of Admiral King High School, Lorain, Class of 1981.  He attended North Central State College and Arizona Western College.  Daniel served in the U.S. Marines for 11 years.  He was a member of New Day Ministries in Bucyrus.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm in New Day Ministries with Bishop Ted Thomas officiating. Burial will be held in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.  The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of Service.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
