Dale Edwin Scheffler

Dale Edwin Scheffler, age 60, passed away June 20, 2023 in Bucyrus Ohio. Dale was born to the late Wayne and Betty (Butt) Scheffler on September 28, 1962. Dale married Joanna (DeBord) Scheffler on April 26, 1982. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Gary Scheffler and Mike Scheffler.

Dale is survived by wife of 41 years, Joanna Scheffler; daughters, Amanda Scheffler and Casey (Logan) Stine; son, Josh (Kaitlyn) Scheffler; brother, Randy (Laurie) Scheffler; grandchildren, Trevor Scheffler, Lilah Stine, and Leighton Stine; sister-in-law, Cathy Scheffler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale was a graduate of Wynford High School class of 1981. He grew up attending Good Hope Lutheran church. He spent decades in the home improvement business and enjoyed watching sports like Nascar and Ohio State and always rooted for the Cleveland Browns. Dale was raised in a farming family which sparked his interest in gardening.  He loved animals, especially dogs. Dale also enjoyed listening to live music and spending time with his friends. Over the years he was active in 4-H and coached softball.
