Curtis Blevins Sr.

Biography:  Curtis Blevins Sr., age 90, went to be with the Lord January 31, 2017. Curtis was born to the late John H. and Edith (Corbin) Blevins on March 18, 1926. Curtis is preceded in death by parents, first wife, Thelma (Roseborough) Blevins in 1973, significant other, Linda Banks, brothers Earl and Simm Blevins, sister, Tess Hamm, son, John Blevins.


Curtis is survived by children, Ron (Liz) Blevins of Galion, Sheba (Don) Keyser of Delaware, Debbie (Larry) Gast of Bellville, and Bob (Jackie) Blevins of Martel; grandchildren, Jon A. Blevins, Shannon Skeldon, Molly Blevins, Jason Blevins, Aaron Keyser, Crystal Blevins, Sara Gast, Richard Gast, and Justin Blevins, as well as 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.


Curtis was a lifetime member of Oceola Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. Curtis was involved with singing and playing music at the church. He worked with Tecumseh of Marion for 39 years before retiring. Curtis also loved spending time with family any chance he got.


Graveside services at Oceola cemetery will be Friday at 1:00 PM. Pastor Carl Angel is officiating services. Memorials may be made to Oceola Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. Arrangements handled by Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com.
