Charles (Shorty) Jacobs

Biography:  Charles (Shorty) Jacobs, 87, of Nevada passed away on Friday December 22, 2017 in his residence.  Shorty was born on June 5, 1930 in Carey, Ohio to the late Homer E. and Nellie Belle (Grady) Jacobs.  In March of 1960, he married Elizabeth Mae Wamack who preceded him in death. 
Shorty is survived by his daughter, Connie (Ronnie Dunford) Jacobs and his brother, Gene Jacobs of Florida.  He is preceded in death by his son, Mike Dawson, his brother, Kenneth Jacobs, and his sister Elizabeth Jacobs.
Shorty lived his entire life in the Nevada area working and retiring from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier.  He loved watching football, doing his word search puzzles, and most of all, loved his family. 
At Shorty’s request, no calling hours or service will be observed.  The family suggests memorial contributions in his memory be given to the Wyandot County Hospice in care of the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at munzpirnstill.com
