Carrie Ruth Strouth

Biography:  Carrie Ruth Strouth, 82 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday June 4, 2017 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Ruth was born April 26, 1935 in Swords Creek, VA to the late Pled and Callie B. (Vance) Pinion.  She was married in 1963 to Eugene Strouth who preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 2015.  In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
 

Ruth is survived by sisters Lucy Smith and her husband Audrey; Loriene Musselwhite; and Callie Irene Honaker all of Bucyrus as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Ruth last worked at Swan and lived in Bucyrus most of her life.  She was a member of the Tiro United Baptist Church and enjoyed crafts and going to garage sales.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Merlin Dye officiating, entombment will be at Crawford County Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Memorials may be given to Ruth’s Church and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
