Carol E. (Lahman) Keller, 100 years of age, passed away on Wednesday April 15, 2026, at Carlisle Place in Bucyrus. Carol was born on December 18, 1925, in Brokensword, OH to the late George Charles Lahman and Floy Lahman. She was married September 2, 1944 to Richard D. Keller who preceded her in death on September 29, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her brother William Lahman.
Carol is survived by daughter Karen (James) Lutz of Columbus and son Donald (Teresa) Keller of Gallaway, Ohio; grandchildren Rick (Tammy) Lutz, John (Sarah) Keller, Jessica (Bradley) Heitkamp, and Sarah (Taylor) Barnes; great grandchildren Michael, Austin, Lennon, Wyatt, Ellie, Adalyn, Olivia, Kellen, and Keaton; great great grandchildren Zoe and Cameron; as well as special friends Virginia Schiefer, Julia Kiess, and Lana Rowland.
Carol graduated from Holmes Liberty High School and worked for 25 years at King’s Daughter’s Bell Michael Home before retiring. She enjoyed working outside, playing cards, and needlework that included crocheting, knitting, and making afghans.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Saturday April 25, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Graveside Services will be held in Brokensword Cemetery following visitation at 11:30 am. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the donor’s choice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
The family would also like to thank the staff at the Carlisle House for their caring service.
