Bruce Charles Tieben,
August 15, 1945 — June 21, 2020
Biography: Bruce Charles Tieben, age 74, passed away June 21, 2020 in Hospice care in Columbus, Ohio. Bruce was born to the late Charles B and Norma (Nester) Tieben August 15th, 1945 in Lorain, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his brother Mark Tieben, and sisters Elaine Tieben and Diane (Traxler) Tieben.
Bruce is survived by his children, Sean (Susan) A. Tieben, Shannon (Bridget) C. Tieben, and Shane E. Tieben, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bruce graduated from Bucyrus High School class of 1963. He worked at Shecks Grocery and at the age of 21 became general manager. He then went on to work for Checkmate Boats until he retired. He was a long standing member of the VFW #1078, and Moose #669. He was an avid bowler who bowled at Suburban Lanes for many years.
