Brenda Kay Vanichek

Biography:  Brenda Kay Vanichek, age 65, passed away unexpectedly at Bucyrus Community Hospital on October 3, 2016. Brenda was born to the late Gene D. Young and Violet Marie (Smith) Roeback May 17, 1951 in Galion Ohio. Brenda and James Vanichek were married June 22, 1987. Brenda is preceded in death by both parents, grandchild Angel Joan Patterson, and brother Stephen Young of South Carolina.


Brenda is survived by husband James Vanichek; daughters, Charlotte Patterson (Jeff Starlin), Teresa Cady (Chad Engler), Patricia Joann Patterson; grandchildren, Aaron Patterson, Veronica Starlin, Amber Butler, Garrett Cady, Joseph Patterson, Kaylynn Craft, Brendan Engler and 5 great-grandchildren.


Brenda enjoyed spending her time sewing and fishing with Jim. She also loved getting to spend time with family any chance she got. Brenda retired from American Wire in Bucyrus Ohio.
