Brenda Carol Fried

Biography:  Brenda Carol Fried, age 76, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Brenda was born to the late Ransom and Erma (Bloomer) Spence in Wyoming County West Virginia September 17, 1941. Brenda is preceded in death by husband Harvey Fried who passed March 29, 2014; brothers, Jimmie Spence, Billy Spence, and David Spence; sister, Nina Stafford; daughter-in-law, Candy Groves.


Brenda is survived by children, Jessie (Michael) Bassett, Donna (Robert) Mollenkopf, Connie Groves, Clifton Groves, and Freddie Groves; brother, Bobby Spence; sisters, Betty Welge and Sherry Black; as well as 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.


Brenda worked with Heartland and Galion Nursing Homes most of her life. She also worked at Crestline Hospital for a short stint. She loved spending time with her husband and family.
