Biography: Bonnie Marie (Rowland) Grau, 80, formerly of Bucyrus, passed away on December 11, 2017 at Willowbrook Christian Village in Worthington following an extended illness. Bonnie was born March 2, 1937 in Bucyrus to the late Marion and Adeline (Holland) Rowland. She was formerly married to Floyd D. Grau in 1957 for 27 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings: Sallie Parker, Ellsworth (Hap) Rowland, Florence (George) Christman, Robert Rowland, Gene Rowland, Marion Rowland, and Marilyn Lohr.
Bonnie is survived by children Tamara (Fred) Spiegel of Bucyrus, Kristine Watts of Dublin, and Daryl Grau of Columbus; siblings Herbert Rowland of Bucyrus and Carol (Pete) Hart of Richmond, Texas; grandchildren Amanda, Allen, Christopher, and William Spiegel of Bucyrus, and Corey and Victoria Watts of Dublin.
Bonnie had worked at Timken several years ago and part time at Special Packaging. She last worked for 14-1/2 years at Dana-Eklin Corp. in Upper Sandusky. She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1956 and was a longtime member of Good Hope Lutheran Church where she was baptized and sang in the choir. Bonnie moved to Dublin in 2010 to live with Kristine's family and she currently was a member of Highlands Presbyterian Church in Worthington.
Funeral service will be held on Friday December 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Botts officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday December 14 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
