Betty Sue Russell

Biography:  Betty Sue Russell, 67 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at home.  Sue was born January 24, 1950 in Welch, W.Virginia to the late James and Lettie (Lester) Wright.  She was married May 7, 2011 to Richard Russell who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchild Courtney Fisher; brother Dick and sisters Joann Rosenblatt, Margaret Patsey, Martha Wright, and Pauline Pettus .


Sue is also survived by children Kimberly (Rodney) Green Schwieger of Iowa; Clint (Jennifer) Green of New Washington; and Emily Wright of Willard; grandchildren Derrick (TeOni) Fisher, Jeremy (Jordan Burgess) Fisher, Ashley, Haley, Ally, and Clay Green; and Miley Sue Haffa; great grandson Jack Fisher; step children; step grandchildren Ashley, Andrea, and Adam; step great grandchild Harper; brothers Jim (Mickey) Wright, CA; Bill (Gloria) Wright, CA; Tom (Amy) Wright, MS; sisters: Helen Caudill, Galion and Ruth Brewer, Bucyrus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


Sue retired from Home Health Care and graduated from Welch H.S.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, attending auctions, fishing, listening to music, helping make quilts for the needy, and most of all spending time with family.


Private Services will be held for the family.  Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
