Arthur L. Rank

Arthur L. Rank, 84 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday May 20, 2024 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.   Arthur was born September 30, 1939 in Bucyrus to the late John and Mary Ann (Ferguson) Rank.  He was also preceded in death by wife Patricia (Cotsamire) Rank on April 28, 2024.  Arthur was the last of 6 children that included sister Doris Jones and brothers Jim, George, John, and Raymond Rank.

Arthur is survived by children Randy Rank, Shelli Hines, Traci Pratt, and Chad (Sara) Rank; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Arthur graduated from North Robinson High School in 1957 and retired from the B & O Railroad after several years.  Following retirement Arthur worked security for Schmidt Security.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was active for several years in the Bucyrus and then New Washington Band playing the Snare Drum.   Arthur was a member of the Bucyrus Methodist Church and the Buckeye Horse Pullers Association of Ohio.

A Celebration of Life gathering for both Arthur and Patricia will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the home, 4888 Lincoln Highway.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Crawford County Humane Society.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
