Anna "Darelene" Nolen

December 31, 1969 — March 7, 2013

Biography:  Anna “Darlene” Nolen, was welcomed home by the Lord March 7th , 2013 at 9:11 am. 

Mrs. Nolen was born July 31, 1944 in Lewis Co., Kentucky to the late Charles Martin Angel and the late Jessie Marie (Angel) Buckner.  On March 16th 1961 she married Martin Elwood Nolen who survives.  Together they enjoyed nearly 52 years of marriage and four children; Phyllis (Joe) Sanders, Timmy (Angie) Nolen, Dennis (and special friend Tracy) Nolen, and Richard (Amye) Nolen all of Bucyrus.
Her life was further blessed by 8 grandchildren, Lisa (Alvin) Hurley, Amy (Hank) Nickelson, April Woodard, Angela Miller, Robert (Misty) Nolen, Dustin Nolen, Richard Nolen Jr., Crystal Nolen, and 15 great grandchildren, Jessica, Alvin, Christina, Colton, Jasmine, Hunter, Noah, Breana, Codey, Dustin Jr., Jaxyn, Mackenna, Dakota, Rhiley, and Brock.
Also surviving are step father Donald Buckner, sisters Lillian Zornes, Carol (Special friend Denver) Hendrickson, brothers Carl (Gloria) Angel, Paul (Barb) Buckner, Walt Buckner, and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Donnie Angel, Ray Angel; sisters Mary Walters, and Kathy Groves.  She will also be sadly missed by her beloved dogs Bubba-Jo and Tippy.
Darlene was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church of Oceola. She was employed by Ekleberry Poultry and later Heartland Nursing Home.  Darlene was most recently a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, decorating cakes, making crafts and playing Bingo.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm in the Pentecostal Tabernacle of Oceola with Pastor Carl Angel officiating, burial will be in Oceola Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 6-8 pm.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
