Anna Jane Cooper

Anna Jane Cooper, age 80, passed away June 30, 2026 at home surrounded by family. Anna was born to the late Russell and Genevieve (Buchwald) Quaintance February 12, 1946 in Bucyrus Ohio. Anna married the love of her life Patrick Cooper, they shared 53 years together. Anna is preceded in death by her parents; son Greg Cooper; siblings, Jim Quaintance, Marilyn Knappenberger, Lavera Lohr, Ronald Quaintance, Sheldon Quaintance, Helen Quaintance, and Edna Zeigler.

Anna is survived by husband Patrick Cooper; children, Dwayne (Debra) Cooper, Matt Cooper, and Angela (Justin) Booher; brother, Bob (Marilyn) Quaintance; sisters, Esther Miller and Sharon Clady; grandsons Ryan, Dustin, Nathan, Blake, Tyler, and Eli; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Hadley, Brooklyn, and Emily.

Anna was a member of the Women’s of Moose. She worked for many years at Clady’s Drugs, at the Bucyrus Pub, and at the Bucyrus Moose. Anna enjoyed playing bingo, playing dominoes, going fishing, and going camping. Her family was the most important thing to her in life, she loved spending time with family and doing family get togethers. She will be missed by all that knew her.

The family invites friends to Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 11AM-1PM. There will be a service with interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
