Allen “Al” Haycook

December 31, 1969 — January 12, 2018

Biography:  Allen “Al” Haycook, passed away at Heartland of Bucyrus with his best friend Marilyn Haycook by his side. Al was born to the late Almond and Ethel (Parr) Haycook in Bucyrus Ohio January 23, 1947. Al is preceded in death by parents,brothers, Donald and David Haycook; sister, Carol Enders, and his pug Sebastian.

Al is survived by his best friend and loving companion of 34 years Marilyn Haycook, as well as several step-children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Al spent his time sharing stories of cab driving, serving his church choir, hospitals, and soup kitchens. He was an avid and devote volunteer. Anyone who knew Al would say his big heart made up for his small body. He was a true server of mankind. Al was also a huge fan of the Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys.
