Albert E. Massey Sr.

Albert E. Massey Sr., 85 of North Robinson passed away on Thursday July 24, 2025 at home. Albert was born April 8, 1940 in Old Fort, North Carolina to the late Mack and Myrtle (Anderson) McEntire. He was also preceded in death by wife Barbara Jean (Lee) Masey; brothers Charles Robert Massey, George H. Massey, and Kenneth Massey; one infant sister; Niece Jacqueline Ann Massey; nephews Steve and Bobby; great niece Ashley Patricia Massey; and nephew Christopher Charlton.

Albert is survived by children Carl (Michelle) Massey, Albert “Pete” Massey Jr., Larry (Karen) Massey all of Bucyrus and Penny (Steve) Swartz of Upper Sandusky; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and brother Carl (Marilyn) Massey of Bucyrus.

Albert last worked at Checkmate Boats for 19 years and prior to that worked at Wingate Ford and Shunk Manufacturing. Albert enjoyed participating in Demolition Derby’s, painting cars, doing auto body work, and attending auctions.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Bishop Ted Thomas officiating and burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
