William "Fred" Baldwin, 67, of Bucyrus died early Tuesday morning February 2, 2010 at his daughter's residence in rural Marion County. He had been in declining health. Born November 9, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Ellsworth and Florence (Seeger) Baldwin. Fred is preceded in death by his father Ellsworth, a brother Rick Baldwin and a granddaughter.

He is survived by his mother Florence Barnhart of Bucyrus, five children; son Timothy (Trina) Donnersbach of Clyde, daughter Dorothy (Steve) Magrum of Grand Rapids, MI, son Michael (Angela) Baldwin, Gulfport, MS, son Jeff (Angie Horn) Baldwin of Marion, daughter Heidi (Don) McMonigal of Marion, his children's mother Betty Blair of Marion, 15 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, a brother Gary (Kathy) Baldwin of Alabama, two sisters Terry (Skip) Stroll of N. Carolina and Marsha (Jim) Hoelscher of Houston, TX.

Fred was an area resident for most of his life and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a past member of the Amercian Legion Post #181 of Bucyrus and the Loyal order of Moose of Galion and Bucyrus.

Graveside service will be Monday Feb. 8, 2010 at 11AM in Oakwood Cemetery with his brother Gary Baldwin officiating and military services provided by he American Legion Post #181. Arrangements are in care of the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at munzpirnstill.com.
