Sandra Sue (Lambert) Paluga Wise, 49, of Ashland passed away Friday, February 12 , 2010, but will forever remain in the hearts of her friends and family.

Sandy was born on February 22 , 1960, the daughter of Don and Helen (Spriggs) Lambert.  She was preceded in death by her two brothers Donald O. and Thomas W. Lambert, great nephew Jonathon Gage Armbruster, brother-in-law Rick L. Hunter, and her recently deceased mother Helen.

Sandy was in her second year as President of Ashland County Lifeworx Inc . and was a peer recovery specialist, where she led a variety of group activities. She served as the Assistant Director by supervising the program and assisting in marketing. Sandy had been a member of Lifeworx for three years and attended several conferences and workshops where she continued to learn about recovery and mental illness.  She was greatly respected as a leader and will be missed by all.

She is survived by three children, whom she loved and adored; daughters Nichole Paluga and her fiance' Mark Stepro of Los Angeles, CA, Michelle (Andy) Krueger of Washington, DC, son Stephen Paluga of Phoenix, AZ, and their father Phil Paluga, and their grandmother Ann Paluga, both of Galion.  Sandy is survived by her father Don Lambert of Bucyrus, brother Randy Lambert of Coudersport, PA, and five sisters; Barbara (Tom) Brown of New Washington , Midge (Tom) Armbruster of Bucyrus, Allena Hunter of Tampa, FL, Beth (Gary) Vinson of Bucyrus, and Cindy Lambert of Bucyrus.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 16 , 2010, at 11AM in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, with Sandy's father Don Lambert officiating.  Friends will be received at the funeral home at 10AM Tuesday, one hour prior to the memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ashland County Lifeworx Inc. in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made to munzpirnstill.com .
