Mr. Kibler graduated from Lykens H.S. in 1946. Paul built towers and worked at Timken for 32 ½ years. For many years Paul worked demolition with his brother and hauled stone. He was a member of the Bucyrus Masonic Lodge #139, Scottish Rite and Aladdin Temple of Columbus and a Life Member of the Bucyrus Shrine Club. He was also a member of the Bucyrus Moose Lodge #669. Paul loved his two cats Velvet and Friskie as well as going to auctions. Paul’s request was for his body to be given to the Department of Anatomy, College of Medicine at OSU for anatomical study. Leroy was retired from Swan Rubber after 42 years. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church. A veteran of the Korean War, Leroy had worked at the U.N. Myrt grew up in Lancaster and married John soon after his discharge from the Army. Their four children were born in Lancaster, but the family lived in Marion, Delaware, and Columbus before settling in Bucyrus in 1960. Myrt worked as the bookkeeper at Fischer’s Hardware, as an operator for United Telephone Company, and owned and operated, with John, the Teen Dream, later renamed the Hamburger Hut. After closing the restaurant, Myrt and John went on the road with McGraw’s Chicken, visiting fairs and festivals all over Ohio. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she sang soprano in the choir and helped with Bingo, the Calico Angel Craft Show, and the Rosary Altar Society. She was also active in community affairs, including; Meals on Wheels, Crawford County Courthouse, Salvation Army, and Bucyrus Little Theater. Myrt created a beautiful garden at her home on Lucas Street and was an excellent cook, pianist, and seamstress. She loved hosting big holiday celebrations for her family and was always ready to go places and have fun with her family and friends. When she moved to Assisted Living her cat, Mitten, went along and was both a comfort and entertainment for many years. Mr. Kottyan is survived by son and daughter in law Thomas and Pam Kottyan of rural Bucyrus; nephew raised as his son, Terry Clegg of Bucyrus; 4 grandchildren;8 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary Kay Kottyan of Upper Sandusky, OH; and niece Lisa Cundiff of Belvidere, NJ and her mother and former sister- in- law Virginia Mingus of Bucyrus. Mr. Kottyan lived his entire life in this area and was a Blacksmith at the former Shunk manufacturing and retired as a machinist at Galion Iron Works in 1985. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 181. Joe was a sergeant during WWII, proudly serving in the Army Air Corps in the Ordinance Comp. with the Jolly Rogers 400th Bomber Group. He served in the Pacific Theatre most of which was in New Guinea. Joe enjoyed mowing, gardening, fishing, visiting relatives, his faithful dogs, all named “Teddy”, and tending to his trees, grapes, and flowers. Beeson, 81, of Bucyrus passed away with his family by his side on Saturday evening at Olentangy Woods in Galion. Harold was born Oct. 7, 1930 in Bucyrus to the late Calvin and Flossie (Sickmiller) Beeson. He was married Feb. 13, 1954 to Phylis D. (Myers) Beeson who preceded him in death on Nov. 21, 2003. In addition to his wife, Harold was preceded in death by brother Calvin Beeson Jr. and a half brother. Case, 73, of Bucyrus passed away at 4:40 am Friday at Heartland of Bucyrus. James was born Jan. 27, 1938 in Nevada to the late Stewart and Helen (Alspach) Case. He was married April 24, 1959 to Helen Elizabeth (Schifer) Case who survives.
