Loren F. Walker, 87 yrs. of age, of 4063 St Rt 96, Bucyrus died early Friday morning at Altercare of Bucyrus. Mr. Walker was born on December 7, 1922 in Holmes Twp. to the late George Wesley and Minnie A. (Cook) Walker. He was married on April 8, 1945 to Lois M. (Geiger) Walker who survives.

In addition to his wife, Loren is survived by two daughters; Kathy (George) Sheets, Sulphur Springs; Brenda (Gary) Billings, Bucyrus; grandchildren Todd (Betty Jo) Billings, Bucyrus; Lee Billings, Bucyrus; Dan Billings, Bowling Green; Lance (Natalie) Billings, Bucyrus; and Brady (Lorena Kanto) Sheets of Cleveland; 2 great grandchildren Garrett and Gage Billings; and one sister Helen Wagner of Sulphur Springs.

At a young age Mr. Walker moved to Liberty Twp. and the current family farm where he farmed his entire life. He was a graduate of Sulphur Springs H.S. in 1940 and was the first Sulphur Springs student to receive a State Farmers Degree. Loren was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ridgeton Rd. and formerly served on Church Council.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Jack Kocsis officiating, burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Sunday where the family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 pm.
