Lucille M. Robinson, 87, of Bucyrus died Wednesday morning Oct. 21, 2009 at Heartland of Bucyrus. She had been ill for the past several months.

Born in Bucyrus on May 12, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Shaw.
On August 16, 1937 she married William Robinson and he preceded her in death October 21, 1990. She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter Tina Dewiel, sister Bessie Wilson, brother Russell Shaw and a half sister Ruth Eggelston.

Lucille is survived by three children; son James Robinson of Bucyrus, daughter Judith (Donald) Shope of Marion, son Charles Robinson, 9 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, a sister Betty Yost of Texas, special cousins Dorothy Garner & Levear Groves and a dear friend Carol Skaggs.

An area resident her entire life, she was a cook for over 20 years at Bucyrus High School. Lucille also worked as a cook at the VFW Post #1078 and was a past member. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, garage sales and especially her family.

Following her wishes, she will be cremated at interred at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Services are in care of the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at munzpirnstill.com.
