Lois Ann Houck, 61 yrs. of age, of 2840 Albright Rd., Bucyrus passed away on Saturday November 14th at 3:15 am in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Lois was born April 20, 1948 in Willard OH to the late Carl and Mary (Daniel) Schriner and grew up in the Attica area. On July 20, 1975 she married the love of her life, Paul R. Houck of Bucyrus.

Survivors are Lois's husband of 34 years, Paul; two brothers, Eldon (Janet) Schriner of Austin TX; Paul (Sandy) Schriner of Attica; one sister Erma (Robert) Cook of Tiffin; sister in law, Frances (Timothy) Cartwright, Bucyrus; brother in law Edward (Linda) Houck, Findlay; loving nieces and nephews, Andy (Maureen) Schriner, Michael (Stephanie) Schriner, Matthew (Jean) Schriner, Jackie Reyes and Trevon, Julie (Michael) Strasser, Erin (Seth) Townsend, Ian (Katie) Cook, and Audrey Cook; 7 great nephews and 5 great nieces; and her godmother Ruth Seasly of Bloomville. She was preceded in death by sister Joan Schriner and sister in law Mary Louise Houck.

Paul and Lois traveled all the states but Alaska and dreamed to complete the 50, as well as many more travels over the years. They enjoyed camping, hiking, and bicycling on their many trips.

Lois was a 1966 graduate of Attica High School and worked at R.R. Donnelly for 34 years, retiring on June 30, 2000. She moved to Bucyrus in 1975 when her and Paul were married. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Bucyrus Historical Society.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Ronald LeJeune as Celebrant, burial will be in the Holy Trinity Section of Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Tuesday where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Wake Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 7:45 pm.
