Kathryn M. Rowalt, 91 yrs. of age, of 1006 Maple St., Bucyrus died on Sunday morning at 8:00 am in her home, she had been in failing health. Mrs. Rowalt was born Nov. 21, 1917 in Cheshire, OH to the late John Grover and Edith (Yaeuger) Grover Burton. She was married Feb. 10, 1934 to Fred E. Rowalt who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1989. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 2 daughters JoAnn and Mary Kathryn; sisters Vivian Ruth, Louise Scott Amstutz, and Narcia Minor; as well as step great grandchild Kelly Jo Gifford.

Mrs. Rowalt is survived by son and daughter in law; Chuck and Sharon Rowalt of Galion; 5 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; brothers John (Leota Caris) Grover of TN and Jim Grover of Flint MI; special friend Miriam Evart, Bucyrus; and former Daughter in law Catherine Rowalt.

Kathryn moved to Bucyrus in 1934 and retired from G.C. Murphy Dept. Store.. She was a longtime active member of Good Hope Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Hasenauer officiating, burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
