James A. Miller, 75 yrs. of age, of rural Nevada died Friday morning Aug. 7th at 5:01 am in Altercare of Bucyrus. Mr. Miller was born March 15, 1934 in Lewis Co. Kentucky to the late Jack and Mae (Bryant) Miller. He was married September 1, 1956 to Sylvia (Montgomery) Miller who survives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandson Matthew and two brothers Harold and Everett Miller. Mr. Miller is also survived by six children; Steve (Starr) Miller, Bucyrus; Kathy (Cary) Bloomfield, Galion; Marlene (Dan) Robles, Lorain, OH; James A. Miller Jr., Nevada; Kay (Lee) Sellars, Newark, OH; Natasha Miller of Bucyrus; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly; one sister Flora Butler, Bucyrus and one Brother Lovell Miller of Bucyrus. James worked at Monroe Steel until it closed and then Anchor Swan until he retired in March of 1996. He was a member of Bucyrus Church of God. He enjoyed going to church and spending time with his family as well as yard work and gardening. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Earnest Surgener officiating, burial will be in Nevada Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday where the family will receive friends from 2-5 pm.
