Gary L. Kirk, 62, of Bucyrus died peacefully at his residence on Saturday June 27, 2009. He was born Jan. 30, 1947 in Bucyrus to Lyle and Norrene (Snavely) Kirk. Gary is preceded in death by his father Lyle and a sister Darlene Kirk. He is survived by his mom Norrene Kirk of Bucyrus, two children, son James Kirk and daughter Jennifer Kirk both of Columbus, their mother Debbie Schifer, two grandchildren Brandon Thomas and Ava Green, two brothers Jerry and Douglas Kirk both of Bucyrus and a sister Karen (Henry) Zier of Crestline. An area resident his entire life, Gary was a 1965 graduate of Wynford High School. He worked for National Lime and Stone for a brief time but worked for over thirty years for the former Galion Dresser. Gary enjoyed cars, hunting and fishing.
