Floyd L Emory 84 of Bucyrus, died Sunday morning at home following a short illness. He was born November 14, 1924 in Maloneton Kentucky to Daniel Boone and Virginia E ( Riley) Emory both deceased. Also preceding him in death are an Infant Daughter, a Daughter Bonnie Mae Root, Brothers Wiliam, Orville, and John, and Sister Linnie Pierce He was the Beloved Husband of Eva Mae Armstrong whom he married December 13, 1950 in Indiana, and she survives.

Floyd was the Beloved Father of Mrs Sharon ( Steven) Harriger of Galion, Mrs Phyllis (Roger) Rush, Floyd Jr, (Donnatt) Emory both of Bucyrus, Beloved Grandfather of Scott ( Betsy) Harriger of Bucyrus, Benjamin (Amanda) Rush of Columbus, Renee Rush, Andrew ( Cynthia) Rush, Justin Emory all of Bucyrus, and Josh Emory of Kenton, Beloved Great Grandfather of Jeremiah, Jasmine, and Joseph Rush, also survived by sister Virgie Salyers of Maryland and brother LeRoy Emory of Galion.

He was a Veteran of the U S Army during WWII where he was attached to a Medical Collection Unit. From April of 1947 to June of 1985 he was employed at Swan Rubber Company retiring as a Lab Technician. Floyd enjoyed his Family, gardening, playing with grandchildren, and riding his bicycle.
