Evelyn E. Snyder of 2174 Temple Rd., Bucyrus died on Friday evening at 8:30 pm in Bucyrus Community Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Snyder was born Dec. 30, 1923 in West Lodi, OH to the late Bernard and Della (Spangler) Zilch. She was married on July 22, 1950 to William F. Snyder who preceded her in death on May 3, 2009. In addition to her late husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers Vern and Don.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by children; Elaine Rebecca (Ronald) Barbarino, Cleveland; Nelson Phillip (Mary) Snyder, Galion; Robert Lee (Linda) Snyder, Bucyrus; grandchildren Justin and Dominic Barbarino; Jennifer Franks; Joleen Fullenkamp; Matthew, Amanda, and Richard Snyder; great grandchildren Brooklyn Ryland; Caitlin Franks; Jane and Jill Fullenkamp; and step great grandchild Colton Fullenkamp.

Mrs. Snyder was a homemaker and years ago worked for the Nickel Plate Railroad in Bellevue. She attended school at Thompson H.S. near Bellevue and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
