Eric T. Pirnstill, 54 yrs. of age, of 7833 St Rt 309, Galion, died on Sunday Jan. 31, 2010 in University Hospital Columbus following a very brief illness. Eric was born April 16, 1955 in Bucyrus to the late Charles K. Pirnstill and Shirley (Smith) Roelle Munderloh who survives in Savannah Georgia. He is also survived by step father Roger Munderloh and step mother Judi Pirnstill of Visalia, CA. He was married to the former Velma (Middleton) Ward who survives. Eric is also survived by sister Beth Pirnstill of Atlanta, GA; brother David Pirnstill, Bucyrus; 5 nephews Nick of Crestline; Casey "Bill" of Toledo; Conner, Carson, and Ivan all of Bucyrus. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by half brother Richard Michael Pirnstill.

Eric graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1973 and worked for a short time at Galion Iron Works. For many years he worked as a lineman in Cable Construction traveling throughout many of the southern states and returned to this area 2 years. ago.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Gene Luidhardt S.A.M. officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
