Alice M. Pfahler, 93 yrs. of age, of 2633 St Rt 602, Bucyrus died on Friday evening at 11:35 pm in Triumph Hospital, Mansfield. Mrs. Pfahler was born October 3, 1915 in Crawford County to the late Ernie and Grace (Lash) Tobin. She was married Oct. 13, 1940 to Ralph G. Pfahler who preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1992. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by daughter Carol Gelbach and her husband John; brother Grover Tobin and wife Joanne; sister Aldora Wechter and her husband Frank; as well as 2 infant sisters.

Mrs. Pfahler is survived by son and daughter in law; Donald and Ruth Pfahler, Bucyrus; grandchildren Charity and Sherry Pfahler, Natalie Hauptman, Scott Gelbach; step grandchildren Donald and Sondra Stacy, April Rasey; great grandchildren Bill and Joshua Hauptman; step great grandchildren Brittni, Sandra, and Tristan Stacy, and Aaron Rasey; sister and brother in law Genevieve and Harold Osborne Jr. of Westerville.

Mrs. Pfahler owned and operated Alice's Beauty Shop in Bucyrus. She lived her entire life in this area and was a 1933 graduate of New Washington H.S., a graduate of Beauty School in Ft. Wayne; and a member of North Robinson U.M.C. She very much enjoyed cooking and living on the farm.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, burial will be in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday where the family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Memorials may be made to North Robinson UMC through the funeral home.
